Through the Looking Glass

PC World is covering Sun’s “Project Looking Glass” which is a java based, open source, 3D graphical user interface meant to run on Linux systems. It sounds like an interesting technology with some merit as Microsoft’s next OS “Longhorn” will supposedly feature a 3D GUI as well.
