Samsung Preps Solid State Storage

Samsung has created a series of solid state storage modules that could take the place of the harddrives we all know and love. The drives consume less power than a standard drive, creates no noise, and has improved transfer rates. Early on 8GB and 16GB devices are planned and prices are sure to be steep for a while with no mention of the device’s MTBF rating.
