Overclockers Online has a review of the Philips PSC724 Ultimate Edge sound card. The company isn’t best known for its PC audio products but it has had a solid record of pumping out quality hardware. This particular board uses a VIA Envy audio chip which is a great performer and cards based on it are usually inexpensive.
