New Scientist is covering the controversy over Verisign’s Waiting List Service which could seriously hamper efforts by regular folks to get expiring or expired domain names. The silly part about all of this is you aren’t even guaranteed to get the domain name of your choice if you do sign up and pay to be on the waiting list.
