Microsoft must not like being left out of the huge collection of computing hardware, known as supercomputers, so they’ve put together a group of their own people, called them the High Performance Computing team, and set them to work on building an OS for clustered supercomputers. If they manage to make it easy to use, and inexpensive enough, it’ll be compelling software. ZDNet has the rest of the details.
