SPARC Chips to Get A Boost

eWeek has word of Fujitsu’s planned speed ramp up of its SPARC64 chips which are usually found in Sun Microsystems PCs and servers. The CPU is getting pushed to a peppy 1.9GHz clock rate with 3MB of L2 cache which is sure to make it a high performer compared to its previous incarnations.
