RAID 5 Performance Compared

GamePC has a trio of RAID 5 solutions on the testbed today with a pair of dedicated add-on cards and a “software-based” on-board chip at their disposal. RAID 5 mixes and matches speed and fault tolerance making it a popular level and it would appear that the products they’ve compared all perform very well.
