NASA Rovers to Roll Around Longer

The Washington Post brings news of some software upgrades to NASA’s twin Mars rovers, Spirit and Opportunity, which will allow them to continue their mission for up to 5 more months or perhaps longer. Their initial goals were met so any new data and findings they accumulate is pure gravy on an already successful mission.
