InfoWorld has a few details on a possible sale of the the U.S. based Lycos subsidiary by Terra, an internet service provider based in Spain, for considerably less than what it had paid for the company. At the time of purchase the $12+ billion price tag for Lycos was way over the top, they’re no doubt trying to minimize losses.
