ZDNet reports on Microsoft’s support for the HD-DVD standard in its upcoming operating system code-named Longhorn. The two high density optical storage specs, HD-DVD and Blu-ray, have been battling it out for standards wins, but both sides are entrenched enough that the “battle” may go on indefinitely.
