internetnews.com has some info on Hitachi’s upcoming Ultrastar 10K300 hard drive. It will feature 300GB of storage capacity as well as a 10k rpm spin speed which will make it a peppy performer. Unfortunatly the drives will be marketed towards high-end workstations and servers at first, we can only hope they trickle down to the consumer level.
