HardOCP has the details on ATI’s physics processing plans. It would seem they teamed up with Havok in order to have one of their graphics cards, in a multi-GPU system, act as a dedicated physics processor. A crazy arrangement, especially with those upcoming 300Watt monster graphics cards, but it seems like a good way to recycle your “old” x1600 on up.
