Sure you can fool yourself into thinking that you’ll get massive amounts of work done in a short period of time with the new Alienware M14x and M18x notebooks but you and I both know that you’re going to be using it for things gainful employment typically shuns. Gaming is the name of the game with the M18x taking the center stage with its over sized frame that sports (up to) an overclocked 4GHz processor and 18.4″ display with multi-GPU options from both AMD and NVIDIA to go along with Wireless HD video so you’ll want to stay tethered to a wall outlet.

The M14x, on the other hand, tones things down with a 14″ display but keeps things moving along with NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M graphics tied to a whopping (up to) 3GB of video memory and that handy Wireless HD video capability to go along with it. Decisions on which you want should be left to your upper body strength and wallet.
