EE Times writes of a new Adidas sports shoe which contains an electronics package that will automatically adjust the shoe’s heal cushion to reduce drag and other side benefits. It seems silly to think that a shoe’s heel would create much drag at all but world class athletes may benefit from the milliseconds shaved off their time.
