You may have thought things were good, no great even. We finally got rid of the cable nightmare that was PATA and have a much better cable and signaling system in Serial ATA, unfortunately you’re standing in the way of progress and should be moving out of the way.
mini-SATA, or mSATA, is on the drawing board and should bring about a much smaller connection for solid state drives of the future…perhaps hoping for multiple mSATA connections for RAID action on mobile devices is a little premature.
