As much as we like the high end products floating around out there with all of their fancy bells and whistles the low end of the market has some very impressive offerings for those tempted to upgrade but lacking the massive budget to even attempt one.
InsideHW has taken a look at 10 different AMD motherboards all of which come in at affordable prices and can get your main rig, or 3rd or 4th computer, up to some modern day standards:
This is another full ATX format motherboard but this time based on NVIDIA single-chip GeForce 8300 chipset. This solution has integrated graphics card that supports hybrid SLI. Build quality and layout are very good. Five-phase power unit is located at upper left corner below 4-pin 12V connector. Thanks to this solution, this motherboard supports CPUs with TDP up to 140W, which makes this motherboard one of the best in this test.
Heck some of these boards can even handle the beefier CPUs AMD put out.
