It’s not often that you’ll find a publication like The New York Times going out on a limb especially when it comes to launch dates for gadgets people are frothing at the mouth over.

So we take it to heart when they say that Sprint will be launching the Palm Pre on the first week of June. They also make note of a slew of other smart phones getting set to drop in the Memorial Day to Labor Day time frame most notably an updated iPhone and new Android powered phones.
