Gmail Undoes Email Gaffes (for up to 5 Seconds)

Gmail Unsend

If you ever felt the insta-pang of regret, shame or panic when you fired off a nasty screed, take heart. Gmail now lets you undo that email for up to 5 seconds after you hit send.

To enable it, login to your Gmail account, go to Settings > Labs and scroll down until you arrive at Undo Send by Yuzo F. Click Enable, hit the Save Changes button at the bottom and you’ve just bought yourself a few seconds to revoke each email before it’s actually sent.

High time! In fact, all email clients, both web-based and offline, should have the option.
